WIKO NIGERIA LAUNCH EVENT

Europe’s fastest growing phone brand; Wiko entered the Nigerian market on 22nd October 2014 with a bang! The launch event took place at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria headed by Mr. Gareth Abel the Marketing Director for Wiko Mobile and Country Channel Marketing Manager, Mr. Adams Adebayo. The event was amazingly pulled off by the Master of Ceremony, Mr. Koffi Idowu Nuels.

The planning and setup of the launch was completed prior to the event with final rehearsals taking place on 21st October 2014. The event started off with the registrations at 10.40am after which the guests were entertained by the Wiko representatives. The main highlight of the event was the welcome dance performance by the Sarakasi dancers who dazzled the audience with their act. The Wiko products were then unveiled by Mr. Marcel at the end of countdown timer.

The event ended with lunch and vote of thanks by the master of ceremony. The phones were available for visitors to experience their features. They were also given chance to interact with the brand team and explore more about the Wiko.

Overall, the launch of Wiko phones in Nigeria managed to hit headlines and create new buzz in the country.
